After high school, I moved to Santa Barbara,CA. Moved back east a year or so later to attend Salisbury State, which I loved. My degree is Philosophy. After college I worked for GO Getter's with the mentally ill. My sister moved to ST Croix in 1994 and I followed in 1995. I was just coming down for an extended vacation....... The first person I was introduced to was my husband Bryan. We have a kayak business here on St Croix, where we take people out on tours of the National Park. It's fun. Our daughter Bryanna is a wonderful blessing. |

We just had our annual Pit Fire for our Columbus Day! Bryan is an artist and he makes Taino Indian reproductions. Everything is hand coiled and all locally harvested clay. We have a big party and burn his pieces every November 14th! Come on down next year!

Building the fire.

Bryan built a huge inferno!

Time for hotdogs!

Glowing embers

The next morning we see if they survived.

Looking good. That's me and a friend with Mt. Eagle in the background.

The Cra Cra! This is a 25 ft dugout canoe that we commissioned the Carib Indians to build for us. We use it to teach schoolchildren about the Pre-Columbian history of St Croix.

This is a hike we went on. It's called Caladonia waterfall. It only runs during the wet season.

Bryanna and her girlfriends dressed up as The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants for Halloween. She was Tibby. Now she wants me to let her get her hair done like that. Wonder where she gets that from?
